The Impossible Build
Approx. 60 Minute Parent-Present Investigation, Facilitated by a Trained Preschool Campers Guide
Can ordinary materials do extraordinary things?
Begin with one piece of paper and a few very confident pigs. Can your design make a bridge that can hold them?
Children and their grown-ups explore how shape changes strength, experiment with build, test, and redesign while using a curated collection of materials.
Every test offers a clue. Every rebuild opens another possibility.
Grown-ups belong in the investigation, too!
Responsible adults stay, participate, and supervise their children throughout. Our facilitator introduces the challenges, supports experimentation, and helps families notice what their designs are teaching them.
