Soft Start Arrival
8:30 AM
At Preschool Campers we believe in independence and one of the factors we use to facilitate this is a soft start arrival. Our school opens at 8:30 AM and welcomes students to our morning session until 9:00 AM. This ensures more flexibility in your mornings. Afternoon students have arrival time from 1:00-1:15 PM.
Circle and Community Time
9:00 AM
Each day we start with Calendar, Weather and Check-Ins. We incorporate singing, dancing, and movement into this daily routine.
Early Literacy- Read Aloud
9:15 AM
Early Literacy research shows that modeling good literacy skills- through an interactive read aloud routine- will boost a child's ability to read independently, successfully and sooner than their peers who haven't had this instruction.
Snack & Hand Washing
9:30 AM
One healthy snack will be provided each day. Following the guidelines, snacks will consist of one serving of grains and a serving of vegetables or fruit. We will also use this time to promote healthy hygiene and hand washing.

Phonics & Phonemic Awareness
9:45 AM
Early Literacy success starts with Phonemic Awareness- which are the small sounds that we put together to make words. This skill is then applied to the alphabet where the sound and symbol together create phonics.

Free Play & Center Time

We value independence and decision making. Giving your child access to developmentally appropriate tools and materials is where they shine! Natural curiosity thrives and interests are explored.

Math:
Number Sense & Foundational Skills
10:30 AM
Number Sense and Early Foundational Math Skills are important to your child's future. We will cover topics such as colors, shapes, sorting and comparing, as well as addition and subtraction within 20.

Outdoor Free Play & Choice Time
11:00 AM
Healthy children should have at least one hour of time outside each day. Children will have access to an age-appropriate jungle gym that includes a swing, climbing ladder and net, "rock" climbing ramp and slide. Children may also relax with a toy or friend on the outdoor couches near the play area or visit the garden area and explore the sensory buckets.
Cleanup & Dismissal
12:00 PM
Children will return inside to tidy up, wash hands, use the restroom and rest until their adult comes to pick them up. Late fees will start being assessed at 12:30 & 5:00 pm.
