There is no “right” finished product —
Curiosity is the Curriculum.
A lot of children's programming are still organized around an adult knowing the answer:
-
"Here are the instructions."
-
"Make yours look like this."
-
"Here's what you're supposed to learn."
Preschool Campers begins somewhere different:
“What do you notice?”
“What do you wonder?
“What do you think will happen?”
"How could we find out?”
"What materials could we use?"
A child might walk into the Water Lab to investigate flow, enter the Kitchen wondering why bread rises, build something that collapses in the Maker Lab, or discover that their experiment produced something completely different than expected.
A grandparent might not know how to answer the questio
And that's not failure.
That's the experience.
